How to shop
Placing your order:
Shopping with us is simple; browse through our store and add any items to your virtual shopping basket. You can view the contents of your shopping basket at any time by clicking the ‘view basket’ button. In this area, you can also modify your selection, remove items or change the quantity.
Once you’re happy with your selection and want to finish shopping, click the ‘Checkout’ button.
For existing customers who have previously shopped with us, you can log into your account and use previously saved delivery details. For new customers, you will have the opportunity to create a new account.
You will then be guided through a simple process, which includes providing/confirming your billing and delivery address information and completion of payment details. Please have your credit/debit card details available for this stage. Your payment will be processed as soon as you place your order.
Once your order is placed, you will have the option to print a receipt, which is strongly recommended. We will also send an email to the email address you have provided, confirming we have received your order request.
We accept most major credit and debit cards with the exception of American Express and Diners Club. The card must be registered to the account address and we are unable to accept Cards that are due to expire within the next 5 days. Card details are checked and verified by a third party and goods are despatched once authorisation has been obtained.

Unless otherwise stated, our standard delivery method is Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded delivery. Should you require a faster delivery, please contact us directly for further assistance.
If you would like to have items delivered to separate addresses, please complete a separate order for each address. Appropriate delivery charges will apply per order.
You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch. If you wish to do so, please notify us by sending an email to contact@sosophisticated.co.uk ensuring that you quote your name, address, a contact number and your order reference.
If you have registered with us and set up an account, you can check the status of any order once signed into 'My Account'.
Additonally, wherever possible, we will provide a tracking reference for your delivery once dispatched. However, should you have any specific queries regarding the status of an order, please do not hesitate to contact us.

In the unlikely event that you receive goods which are faulty, of a different quantity to that stated on your order, not of satisfactory quality or not as described, sosophisticated.co.uk will be happy to, at our own option, replace or repair any damaged or faulty items, make good any shortages, or refund the cost of the item(s) in question, with the following conditions:
Faulty or damaged goods must be reported immediately upon receipt or in any event within 7 days.
All other returns requests must be made and received within 21 days of receipt of goods.
With the exception of faulty goods, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on products which have not been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, or that we reasonably believe have been used. Alternatively, we reserve the right to deduct 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount, at our discretion.
Delivery charges will be only be refunded in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.
In the interests of hygiene, selected items including earrings, cosmetics and toiletries cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
Please note that in the case of cancellations and returns, which have been supplied with additional gift wrapping, the gift wrapping service charge cannot be refunded.
All returns must be authorised by us prior to their return. In the first instance, please notify us via email or telephone (customer.support@sosophisticated.co.uk / 0845 603 4732), with details of the order reference (if known), your name, address, contact telephone number and email address, together with details of the issue or fault.
We will then provide you with a Returns number, which must be indicated on the returned item(s) packaging and quoted in any further correspondence. Note that unless the goods are defective, damaged upon receipt or not as specified on your order acknowledgement, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods.
Please return items in their original unopened packaging and in a saleable condition to the company's address. All reasonable care should be taken to package goods adequately to ensure safe transit.
In addition, it is recommended that you use a recorded delivery, or traceable delivery service for all returns. We cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit or damaged due to insufficient packaging.
We will confirm receipt of any items returned and, subject to inspection, will process dispatch of a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
Refunds will be processed as soon as possible, but at most within 2 weeks of our receipt of returned goods. Refunds can only be credited to the original payment card account.
Should you find any product to be faulty, it can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Please notify us immediately upon delivery and follow the returns process as indicated.
Upon receipt, we will investigate the fault, and either send a replacement (subject to availability) or offer you a refund. Occasionally, should there be an opportunity to repair any item, it will be returned to the supplier. In these cases, please bear with us as the processing time may be extended.
